WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – In a sudden and emotional turn in the Rebecca Park investigation, both Park’s sister Kimberly and her fiancé Richard “Rich” Falor are now behind bars in Wexford County. Kimberly Park and Falor were both arraigned today but the public didn’t get to see it.

During Wednesday’s arraignment, Judge Corey Wiggins quickly shut off the courtroom livestream, telling the packed room and media that the court had an “ethical duty” to protect the defendants’ right to a fair trial.

According to 9&10 News, Kimberly Parks now sits on a $750,000 bond. She’s charged with:

• Tampering with evidence
• Lying to a peace officer
• Filing a false report of a felony

Falor has been arraigned and put on $1,000,000 bond. The charges include: Delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance (two counts) and Habitual offender- fourth offense notice.

The investigation is far from over. Officials still have not formally identified the body discovered on November 25 as being that of Rebecca Park, and an autopsy has yet to be completed. Despite that, charges against Kimberly and Rich are already moving forward – leaving the community waiting for answers, and wondering what investigators know that they aren’t yet ready to say.
