TOLEDO, Ohio. (Michigan News Source) — A Detroit high school teacher’s lesson in bad judgment ended in handcuffs after he allegedly offered $60 to an undercover agent posing as a minor during a Toledo prostitution sting.
Jacob Suder, 31, who teaches at Mumford High School, was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with paying a minor to engage in sexual activity, according to court filings. Detroit Public Schools placed him on administrative leave while launching an internal investigation.

Investigators say Suder messaged the undercover agent, asked if she engaged in prostitution, then offered money for oral sex before showing up at a parking lot where police were waiting.
District officials said there’s no indication of any student involvement but promised a full review. A hearing in the case is set for Nov. 13 in Toledo Municipal Court.
