WAYLAND, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – In what may be Michigan’s strangest porch theft yet, officials say someone made off with a 6-foot-tall taxidermy black bear—jewelry, fake badge, and all.
Michigan State Police troopers say surveillance video shows someone stealing the bear from an Allegan County porch on Jan. 19. The bear wore a ring, necklace, fake sheriff’s badge, and a holster with a toy gun. It was also mounted on a hollow-base stand.
