In late January, Cauldwell-Clarke said he suffered a back injury that required him to be treated at a Michigan hospital. He didn’t reveal which hospital treated him.
On Wednesday, Cauldwell-Clarke said in a social media post that he received a letter from that hospital stating several employees accessed his electronic health records over several days without a work-related reason.
“They know where I live,” he said. “They know a lot of information about me without my permission,” Cauldwell-Clarke said, adding he didn’t feel comfortable with the situation.
He posted a 45-second video from his hospital bed on Jan. 19. He said he tore a ligament in his back.
“I am so sorry Michigan broke you,” one commenter posted on his TikTok account.
