CONSTANTINE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Officials broke up a suspected drug operation in St. Joseph County on Tuesday which ended with two arrests.

Investigators with the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office say methamphetamine was being distributed from the residence. During the search, deputies recovered meth along with a stolen handgun.

Deputies took a man and woman into custody at the scene. Authorities say both were in possession of meth and the stolen firearm.

The pair were lodged in the St. Joseph County Jail and are awaiting arraignment on charges including operating and maintaining a drug house, possession of methamphetamine, felony firearm, and possession with intent to distribute.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Centreville-Constantine, Three Rivers, and White Pigeon police departments.
