BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Ferris State University’s beloved mascot Brutus is normally in charge of getting the crowd on its feet. Now, he’s the one taking center stage at the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee.

Phil Sklar and Brad Novak, founders of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, accepted the Brutus bobblehead into their collection of more than 10,000 figures.

“This is awesome,” Novak said of the Bobbing Brutus, which sports a red Ferris State football jersey. “We sometimes have mascots in the museum, but I don’t think we’ve ever had a mascot here presenting a bobblehead of himself. This is great!”

The Brutus bobblehead is currently displayed on the museum’s “new arrivals” shelf. Eventually it will be moved to the college mascots section of the museum.

If a road trip to Milwaukee isn’t in your plans, don’t worry. The Brutus bobblehead debuted in January and is available at the Ferris Outfitters store on the Big Rapids campus and online.
