JACKSON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A suspect is facing charges after an unusual case of alleged home invasion in Jackson County.
On Thursday morning, deputies responded to a personal welfare check regarding a man walking in Hanover Township, according to the sheriff’s office.

While in the area, a 911 call came in for a breaking-and-entering in progress at a home on Folks Road. When the deputies showed up, they found the suspect inside the residence, “eating candy and pizza,” the sheriff’s office said in a post on Facebook.
Deputies arrested the man and lodged him at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on home invasion charges. It is unclear if that suspect and the welfare check subject are the same person.
