LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Former television meteorologist Terry DeBoer is the projected GOP winner of Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District seat, according to the Associated Press.

DeBoer (78.6%) defeated Ryan Cushman (21.4%). The winner will take on incumbent U.S. Rep. Hillary Scholten in the Nov. 3 general election.  She is serving her second term in Congress.
