SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN (Michigan News Source) – That old barn full of rusty signs, vintage toys and mysterious stuff nobody has touched since 1978 could finally have its moment.
The History Channel’s “American Pickers” is heading to Michigan this fall, with the crew planning to film episodes across Michigan, Indiana and Ohio in October 2026. The popular series follows skilled “pickers” as they travel the country hunting through private collections for unusual antiques, forgotten treasures and pieces of American history.

Producers are currently looking for Michigan residents with large, unique collections and interesting stories behind them. Southwest Michigan is among the areas being targeted, although an exact filming schedule and complete list of Michigan stops have not yet been released.
They’re on the hunt for military collectibles, folk art, vintage clothing, movie memorabilia, old advertising, unusual radios, early firefighting equipment, vintage bicycles and toys, musical equipment, automotive items and pre-1950s Western gear.
