STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Vice President JD Vance is coming to Michigan.

Vance will be in Sterling Heights on Monday, Aug. 31, speaking at an event hosted by the super PAC MAGA Inc. The event will highlight Republican candidates, including U.S. Senate candidate Mike Rogers, gubernatorial candidate John James and 10th Congressional District candidate Mike Bouchard Jr. of Rochester Hills.

As in 2024 and 2022, Michigan is expected to be a key battleground state in November. Vance’s visit will come just after Michigan Democratic Party members meet in Lansing on Saturday to officially nominate candidates for the statewide ticket. Republicans held their nominating convention last weekend.
