DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Michigan’s two U.S. Senate candidates will take the debate stage twice this fall.
Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed have agreed to two debates. The first is Thursday, Oct. 8, on WOOD-TV 8 in Grand Rapids. The second is Wednesday, Oct. 21, on WXYZ-TV Channel 7 in Detroit and will be televised statewide.
A third debate, slated for Sept. 15 on FOX 2 Detroit, is only half-confirmed. El-Sayed has agreed to participate, but Rogers has not.
The two candidates have also sparred on social media.
Mike Dodgers will show up for Michigan…2/5 of the time. But if you’re Trump, he’ll back you every time. https://t.co/9bYKqMNXx4
