ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – President Donald Trump is coming to St. Clair County to rally for Republicans ahead of the midterm elections.
The Trump 47 Committee said the president will speak at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. The exact location has not yet been announced.
Michigan is a key battleground state. Democrats have held the offices of governor, secretary of state and attorney general since January 2019 — nearly eight years — while Trump carried Michigan in the 2024 presidential election.

Trump’s visit falls the same weekend that former President Barack Obama is scheduled to campaign in Detroit with Democratic gubernatorial nominee Jocelyn Benson and U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed. Obama’s rally is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24.
That weekend also marks the start of Michigan’s required statewide early in-person voting period, which runs from Oct. 24 through Nov. 1. Some communities may offer additional days.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
