MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – A suspect in an Isabella County murder and sexual assault has turned himself into police.

Police say 40-year-old Isaiah Gary “Zeke” Gardenhire is in custody after he traveled to the Flint area on Monday night in a stolen Ford Fusion.

Michigan State Police say a Gardenhire is suspected of stabbing and killing 13-year-old girl and sexually assaulting another woman over the weekend.
