LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Michigan drivers shouldn’t count on a break at the gas pumps anytime soon.

Prices in Michigan are roughly $3.16 per gallon, which is a slight decline in the past week, but $1.10 more than this time last year.

AAA said the decreased demand after Labor Day and recent hurricanes which impacted refineries could keep prices above three dollars per gallon for several weeks.
