LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Michigan families who receive food assistance will see Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits increase permanently by nearly 7 percent.

The increase comes as a temporary 15 percent hike related to the COVID-19 pandemic expires.
