All products need to be tested and meet commercial standards before being sold in the state.

The biggest change affects convenience stores, gas stations and tobacco shops which can’t sell any THC products without a license.

In addition, businesses licensed to sell marijuana will face legal action if they sell it to a minor or someone visibly intoxicated, and that person becomes injured.

Michigan will also allow doctors to prescribe medical marijuana through telemedicine.
