LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – The state of Michigan has awarded more than $14 million in “MI Clean Water” plan grants to 28 cities, villages, and townships.
The grants support work including replacing lead serving lines, enhancing water affordability plans, and connecting homes with contaminated drinking water wells to safe community water supplies.
The city of Muskegon is receiving the largest grant of nearly $899,000.
