SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Starting Monday, fully vaccinated Canadians will be able to cross the U.S. border for non-essential travel for the first time in nearly 20 months.
The U.S.-Canada border first closed to non-essential travel in March 2020 as government officials sought to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Canada opened its border to Americans in August.
In addition, the US will allow vaccinated international travelers to fly into the country.
