LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is doling out cash to fix the roads.
MDOT is giving grants to nine communities around the state for road repair.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer says the money will help rebuild important corridors to connect people with their jobs.
So far, the Whitmer administration says it has spent nearly $4.75 billion fixing roads.
