LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – Michigan health officials said the first allocation of COVID-19 pills have arrived in Michigan.

The state received 7,000 courses of both Merck and Pfizer’s COVID-19 pills.

However, only severe patients are eligible.

The pills are prescription only and will be distributed in the hardest-hit areas like Detroit, the thumb area, and Bay region.
