DETROIT (Great Lakes News) – Some Detroit-area pastors spent their Easter Sunday easing people’s pain at the gas pumps.
The pastors pumped $6,000 worth of gas in 10-gallon increments to motorists in need.
In addition to filling up the cars, the pastors offered to pray with the motorists.
Michigan gas prices continue to put a strain on drivers’ budgets even with a three cent dip in the past week.
AAA Michigan reports drivers across the state are paying an average of $3.92 per gallon.
Gas prices are 29 cents higher than this time last month and $1.13 more than one year ago.
