LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan’s average gas price has set a new record.
In the past week, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas rose 44-cents to $5.04.

AAA Michigan says that’s 74-cents higher than last month and $2.02 above last year.
Gas stations in Metro Detroit has the highest prices in the state with an average of $5.12, and Marquette’s $4.96 is the lowest average.
A 15-gallon fill up is now more than 75-dollars.
