ESCANABA, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – An Escanaba man will canoe the entire Mississippi River to raise money for charity.
20-year-old Peter Frank will take on the 90-day task starting Wednesday in Minnesota.
His goal is to raise $100,000 for the Beacon House in Marquette.
At age 14, a car ran over Frank and he was hospitalized for one month. During that time, his family stayed in the Beacon House which allowed them to stay close to their son.
