LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan has eliminated another $53 million dollars in unemployment overpayments for about 7,300 residents who had faced overpayment notices.
The state is also refunding about $2.4 million to people who had started paying back their overpayments.

As of Friday, the state has waived more than $4.75 billion in overpayments for more than 407,000 people who had claimed benefits through the federal pandemic program.
