LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan’s Republican Party has chosen Shane Hernandez for Lieutenant Governor at its convention in Lansing on Saturday.

Dixon selected Hernandez last Friday as her running mate, but the convention needed to formally vote on her choice.

Just like Dixon, Hernandez has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

The Dixon-Hernandez ticket will take on Democratic incumbent Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist on November 8.
