CLARE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Animal control is working to find a Great Dane on the loose on a Clare County island.
The Clare County Animal Control says it’s believed the dog slipped its collar, swam across a canal to a marshy area in Cranberry Lake, and got on the island nearly two weeks ago.

The animal control tracked the dog using a drone Monday but was not able to catch it.
They’re going back Tuesday with a humane trap.
If the trap is unsuccessful, they will return Thursday with volunteers.
