DePerno, and Karamo received Trump’s endorsements last spring when he spoke at a rally in Washington Township in April. Dixon received an acknowledgement from Trump at that rally, but did not receive his endorsement until four days before the August 2 primary election.
Meanwhile, early voting in Michigan starts September 29, two days before the scheduled rally. In addition, the rally comes one week before the first scheduled debate between Dixon and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
The general election is November 8.
