LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan’s Opioid Task Force received an adjustment on Thursday, which added 10 local government representatives to the task force, per an executive order from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
The Task Force, formed in 2019, is now required to hold four public meetings each year. In addition, it gives the group the power to direct money received from settlements and bankruptcies.
