ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel cozied up to actress Jane Fonda in a social media video promoting “Pack the Diag” on Monday night to fight against what they say is an assault on “our reproductive and voting rights.”
Tomorrow night, we’re going to #PackTheDiag as students at @Umich have been doing for decades β just take it from @JaneFonda!
Michiganders will not stand for this assault on our reproductive and voting rights. Come out with us & make your voice heard tomorrow night at 6. pic.twitter.com/U1zDPnVkn1

In the Twitter video with Fonda, Nessel says “We refuse to surrender our rights and go backwards to a time where women had no control over their bodies or their destinies.” Some pushed back against Nessel.
Rather have you focus on crime and stopping drug deaths than killing babies.

Like Nessel, Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has pushed the legal right to abortion up through the moment of birth since the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade and returned abortion regulations to the states. She’s repeatedly stated she will “fight like hell” for the legal right to end pregnancies through all three trimesters.
Iβm using every tool I have to safeguard the right to abortion in Michigan β for my daughters, their generation, and every generation after them.
We wonβt go back.
