FORT MYERS, Fla. (Michigan News Source) – One of the more than 90 lives lost in Hurricane Ian’s wrath includes a Michigan man.
35-year-old Craig Steven Markgraff, Jr. was a construction work who split his time between working in Florida and his home in Michigan.

He spent his summer in Michigan, then returned to Florida to finish up some work.
He was last seen by his father on September 29 clinging to a tree amid rising waters.
He was reported missing hours later.
Rescue crews found Markgraff’s body near Zolfo Springs on October 4.
