LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer will deliver her fifth State of the State Address on Wednesday, January 25th.
Whitmer will address the people of Michigan through a live broadcast, and deliver her remarks in the Michigan House Chambers in front of a joint session of the Michigan House of Representatives and the Michigan Senate.

According to a press release from the governor’s office, Whitmer plans to lay out “proposals [that] will lower costs, make Michigan more competitive, expand opportunity, and protect people’s fundamental rights.”
Whitmer has repeatedly said she wants to “move Michigan forward” during her last term in office.
