LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan Rep. Ranjeev Puri (D-Canton Township) is using four-letter words to express his feelings about Monday night’s shooting on MSU’s campus that left three dead and five others fighting for their lives.

On official state letterhead, Rep. Puri started his statement with, “F*** your thoughts and prayers.”

He went on to say, “Thoughts and prayers without action and change are meaningless.”

As Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-07) took the press conference podium first on Tuesday morning at MSU and hinted at gun control, details are still emerging about what laws currently on the books the shooter ignored.

Police identified the shooter as 43-year-old Anthony McRae. They say he had once been on probation for a gun violation and had a history of mental health issues.
