LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan’s Democratic-controlled House of Representatives voted late Wednesday night to repeal the state’s right-to-work law.

Right-to-work passed in 2012 under a Republican-controlled Legislature and allows people to decide whether they want to pay dues to join a union.

Legislators hope to have the repeal through both chambers and on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s desk by the end of the month.
