LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) wants to remind anglers that April 1st marked the beginning of the new fishing season.
All fishing licenses purchased after April 1st will be good for any species of fish in any body of water until March 31, 2024.

The money from the purchase of the license is used to replenish stocks of fish in Michigan waters.
