GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Grand Valley State University has dropped its COVID-19 vaccine requirement for students and staff.
University officials said widespread immunity against COVID-19 has been achieved, and they no longer believe the vaccine requirement is necessary.

Students in health-related programs may still need to be vaccinated in order to complete internships and training.
Starting next fall, all incoming first-year and transfer undergraduate students will be asked to report their immunization status. Upper-class and graduate students will be encouraged to report their vaccination status.
