GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The city of Grand Rapids is the latest city in Michigan to urge people to water their trees as the area is in a moderate drought, and areas east of the city are in a severe drought.

The city’s Forestry Division says dry conditions this early in summer can lead to devastating effects long-term on trees and they say watering them will help protect the shade cover.
