DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – WDIV is reporting that the body of missing 2-year-old Wynter Cole Smith has been found in an overgrown alley behind a home on Detroit’s east side.

The Lansing Police Department is expected to give a press conference at 10 p.m. on Wednesday night regarding the case.

Wynter went missing on Sunday, July 2 after her mother’s ex-boyfriend allegedly kidnapped her. Police issued an Amber Alert.
