HILLSDALE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A judge is keeping a 50-year-old Hillsdale man in jail after being charged with making a false report or threat of terrorism.
Michigan’s Attorney General’s Office said Chad Young is accused of threatening Hillsdale County Sheriff Scott B. Hodshire after a complaint filed by Young did not result in any criminal charges.

Young allegedly sent an audio message to Hodshire where officials say Young threated to “gut” him. Young is in jail and is being bound over for trial.
