DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Anyone hoping for season ticket to see the Detroit Lions play at Ford Field is out of luck – at least for now. Detroit Lions president and CEO Rod Wood announced all season tickets for the 2023-24 season have sold out.

However, you can add your name to a waiting list for tickets here.

This is the first time that the Lions season tickets have sold out in their history at Ford Field. Their tenure there began in 2002.

Even if Detroit Lions fans can’s see their team play in person, they still have a reason to cheer from home. The Lions are the current favorite to win the NFC North Division. With home field advantage, this would give Ford Field its first home playoff game ever.

The last time the Lions hosted a playoff game was in 1993 at the now imploded Pontiac Silverdome.

The Lions open the season on September 7 with a a tough away game. They will take on the Kansas City Chiefs, the reigning 2023 Super Bowl champions.
