Police said 14-day-old Montana Alexander Bridges and Matthew Jace Bridges were reported missing on Sunday night from a Quality Inn in Livonia, and officials released the AMBER Alert on early Monday morning.

Detroit Police Chief James White said the twins were dropped off at the 9th precinct around 9:30 a.m. Monday. Doctors are evaluating the babies at a hospital.

Police said no one is in custody, but also did not say if they are looking for suspects. Originally, police said they were looking for two women in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Michigan license plate EHD 1130.

Security pictures of two women police said were allegedly the kidnapping suspects.

According to the Livonia police chief, the mother said she left the twins with two friends; when she came back the twins were gone.
