WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan) couldn’t be bothered with commenting on Israeli babies being slaughtered by Hamas, but she had no problem lashing out at Jews on the Capitol steps on Wednesday.

Rep. Tlaib continued her rant by saying, “When are we going to stop funding continued oppression of indigenous communities?” she said in reference to the U.S. and its pro-Israel stance.

The comments made at a pro-Palestinian rally turned into a takeover of the U.S. Capitol building as the protestors demanded a ceasefire between Hamas terrorists and Israel.

In addition, Tlaib had refused to delete a social media post that favored her anti-semitic leanings when she blamed Israel for an attack on a Gaza hospital earlier this week. New information eventually surfaced that the “attack” was a misfired rocket, likely from Hamas.

Colleague Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Michigan) accused Tlaib of perpetuating Hamas propoganda.

The protest quickly turned as hundreds of demonstrators rushed the Capitol. Police arrested roughly 300 people.

Meanwhile, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Georgia) wants swift actions against Tlaib.

On Wednesday during his visit to Israel, President Joe Biden announced his intent to give $100 million to Palestinians region for humanitarian efforts, but others argue Hamas runs the region so the money will not go to help civilians.
