LANSING, Mich.(Michigan News Source) – The campaign of presidential candidate Ryan Binkley confirmed to Michigan News Source that the Michigan GOP said his name will appear on Michigan’s primary ballot in February.
Earlier this week, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson released a list of Democratic and Republican presidential candidates that would appear on the ballot. Binkley’s name was left off, and calls and emails to Benson’s office from Michigan News Source have gone unanswered.

However, Benson did release a statement regarding a Michigan judge’s ruling that former President Donald Trump’s name can appear on primary ballots.
“I am gratified that [the] court rulings affirm my position that under Michigan law anyone generally advocated by the national news media to be a candidate for the Republican or Democratic nomination for President must be listed on the ballot in our February 2024 primary,” Benson said in a press release.
Michigan’s legislature adjourned for the year on Tuesday in order to trigger a law to have the state’s primary held on February 27, 2024.
