DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Mandy Cohen spent some time in Detroit on Thursday to encourage residents to get vaccinated against the flu, COVID-19 and RSV this winter.
Detroit Public Health Officer Denise Fair Razo says people of color are two to three times more likely to get COVID and die from it in the Detroit area.

Cohen recommends, if people get sick, that they get tested so they can receive treatment that could possibly save their life.
