GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Kentwood police and fire departments are extending an invitation to the community, urging everyone to participate in a charitable competition aimed at gathering donations for the city’s Little Free Pantry.
Kentwood’s Little Free Pantry serves as a valuable resource, offering free food and personal care items to those in need. The pantry operates on a simple principle—anyone can contribute to it or take from it, with no inquiries or applications required.

To make a positive impact, individuals are welcome to drop off donation items at the Kentwood Police Department lobby and three fire stations until December 31. The department that amasses the greatest weight in donations will emerge victorious in the contest, earning well-deserved bragging rights.
Donation items can be dropped off in the lobby of the following locations:
Kentwood Police Department, 4742 Walma Ave. SE
Fire Station 1, 4775 Walma Ave. SE
Fire Station 2, 4151 Embassy Drive SE
Fire Station 3, 5340 Eastern Ave. SE
