LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Marijuana giant SKYMINT announced it will lay off 143 from its Harvest Park production facility in Eaton County and close the facility.

According to the company’s media relations, the employees have been given a 60-day notice and informed the state of this large layoff.

The 56,000-square-foot plant will cease operations following the termination of the employees by March 1, 2024.

The company said surplus supply, declining prices, and rising costs contributed to the layoffs and impending plant closure.
