DALLAS (Michigan News Source) – With 23 seconds left in Saturday night’s game, the Detroit Lions seemed to be within reach of a victory over the Dallas Cowboys. But a two-point conversion attempt that went for a score to offensive tackle Taylor Decker was wiped out due to an illegal touching penalty.
The Lions had an extra offensive lineman report as eligible but Decker did not. Decker had to report as eligible and he didn’t, leading to the penalty.
