LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – After federal judges declared 13 of Michigan’s districts unconstitutional last month, the Michigan Independent Redistricting Commission (MICRC) will start court-ordered mapping sessions for seven Michigan House districts on Tuesday.

The meeting and all future mapping sessions will be livestreamed here.

Those who want to submit public comment can do so here. 

MICRC mapping meetings during the week of Jan. 22 will be in person at Cadillac Place in Detroit; additional Detroit locations are TBD. Meetings the week of Jan. 29 will be virtual.
