FRANKENMUTH, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State Police will lay fallen Trooper Joel Popp to rest this week.
Officials said a private visitation will take place on Monday for Popp’s family and friends, Tri-City Post members, and members of the 137th Trooper Recruit School.

The public is invited to attend a visitation at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth on Tuesday from 2 – 8 pm.
Popp died on duty last Wednesday at the age of 39 after being hit during a traffic stop on I-75.
