GLEN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – It’s clear that Old Man Winter isn’t done with Michigan yet. However, some residents are already planning for a sweet spring.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore will be making things extra sweet this year with the second annual Maple Sugaring Days on March 2nd and 3rd.

This public event celebrates the history and process of making maple syrup through demonstrations, historical hikes, kid’s activities, and plenty of sweet maple treats.

The event is free with a park entrance pass.
