KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine clinic now has free opioid overdose reversal kits available in a former newspaper box outside the main patient entrance.
WMed is partnering with Bronson Healthcare to fight the opioid crisis by offering naloxone for no cost.
Health school officials say overdoses have become the leading cause of accidental death for people between 21 and 65-years-old. The project began in 2022.
